Crucolo production began in Valsugana, in the Lagorai Dolomites, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovation. From cheeses made with 100% Italian milk, turned and washed by hand during the ageing process, to cured meats prepared with Italian pork and natural flavourings, every product reflects the local area. The IFS-certified factory and the Trentino Quality mark guarantee high standards, safety and authentic flavours, with respect for sustainability and consumer health.
The Rifugio Crucolo is the oldest family-run tavern in Trentino, opened in 1782 and located at 1,100 metres above sea level at the foot of the Lagorai mountains. Here, every dish reflects mountain traditions, offering a genuine and convivial experience. A visit to the cellar, with its cured meats, cheeses and family stories, completes a unique moment of authentic flavours and warm hospitality.
In Scurelle, next to the company headquarters, the Bottega del Rifugio Crucolo is our official shop, where you can find all the brand’s specialities and much more. In addition to cheeses, cured meats, Parampampoli, wines and spirits, the shop offers jams, biscuits, platters and complete kits for serving Parampampoli just like in a restaurant.
