Did you know there is a Crucolo Day?

Every year, Concord, Massachusetts, celebrates Crucolo Day, also known as the Crucolo Cheese Parade: a parade during which a giant wheel of Crucolo cheese, handmade by the Purin family in Trentino, is carried through the streets.

Started in 2010 to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season, the parade has become increasingly popular over the years: in 2019, a 450-kg wheel was presented, welcomed by marching bands, costumed performers and an enthusiastic audience.

At the end of the parade, the cheese is cut and shared among all those present, transforming the event into a convivial occasion that combines tradition and community. A moment of celebration that recounts the magic of Crucolo cheese and its ability to bring different cultures together, with the same genuine taste as always.
